Hi there John, So, I've just returned from a 3 hour ride on the gixxer this afternoon, I decided to go for an extended ride to test it on all sorts of roads and I have to say the bike is behaving very differently than before you adjusted the suspension! The major difference is that it feels INCREDIBLY planted in the corners, both slow (say for example fairly acute corners in built up areas) and fast (such as A roads). The result of this is that I feel more confident at increasing angles of lean and at higher speeds in corners I've ridden countless times before but just didn't 'get'. Slow control in traffic is brill because of a) more confidence stopping the bike with the reduced seat height and b) able to brake harder and feel more in control because of a). The suspension doesn't feel as hard as before when going over white lines or speed bumps and the turning in has definitely improved. I'm massively pleased! I'm hugely excited about this forthcoming biking season now. I've just done around 100 miles this afternoon and the bike behaved like a gentleman. Thanks again for all you've done! Evening John, Well what can I say; you said 'I would love you forever' and you weren't wrong. The adjustments you have made to the bike are unreal. I went to my favourite road today as you recommended. I did it once and had to go do a re-run just to be sure. Your adjustments have totally balanced the bike. It feels smoother and more stable into bends and when braking. It just seems like it is guiding itself around the corners. It's lost that twitchy and stiffness. I don't have a clue what you did or how you even know what to do but, what ever it was, it works. You came highly recommended to us and we will certainly highly recommend you on to our friends. Hi John, I cant believe the job you have done, as soon as I pulled out of the car park I could feel the difference and once I got on the open road the bike felt more planted and the front didn't nose dive, when I pulled the front brakes on. Hello John. Thanks for the set up. I took the bike out today and there is a massive improvement
After a couple of hours I had got my head around the new settings and started to enjoy. I took the bike to Helmsey and up and down the Helmsley to Stokesley road B1257. The bike corners so smoothly it seams to iron out the bends and I found myself going quicker and gaining more confidence I ended up doing 3 runs there and back with a big grin on my face. The bike overall has never felt like mine but now I am very happy with it we have finally got on with each other. Thanks again. Mike

Hi John, Well, what a difference in the handling since you performed your magic on my suspension at Woolley Edge Services this morning ! The bike now feels how I think it should feel and handle, even on a straight run on the motorway. The real difference for me was where I came off the M1 at jct21 for Leicester, the road sweeps round to the left and normally I get a small amount of wobble but not this time, the next test that proves the adjustments you made was just around the next sharp sweeping left curve onto the Leicester ring road, not a wobble in sight, the gixxer just glided around as smooth as a baby's bum and within a few miles a left at the lights and again nice n smooth, no battling with the bike to get her to go where I want her to. Managed a couple of mini-roundabouts both left and right turns and a few sets of lights with 90 degree turns both left and right in succession and she felt planted and directional if that makes sense, basically just right and how I want it to feel, inspiring confidence is probably the phrase I am looking for. Thanks John, The difference was noticed immediately, just riding down your road. It feels taut and rides like it is on rails! I wasn’t aware of any vagueness before but I am now in retrospect. Took it out into Lincolnshire and the ride is much firmer but without feeling harsh. Thanks Paul

Hi John, Bike is much better to ride. It rides over bumps better and feels much more planted in the corners. The edginess it had when entering corners has gone and it doesn't fall into bends as it did before. Not sure I would know what to change to make more improvements, for now it seems perfect. Top job. Dear John, I'd just like to thank you for the transformation in the steering, comfort and general handling of my 2003 Suzuki SV 1000. Having had three Fireblades and an R1 in the past, I missed the sports bike sophistication of the suspension when I bought the SV. I loved the SV immediately but I was disappointed with it's road-holding and comfort. The forks were like a pneumatic drill and the rear shocker was harsh yet the bike wallowed and weaved on long bumpy bends, and smooth ones too. The short time in your hands and at such a bargain price was well worth it. It now is far more comfortable both back and front, the steering is quicker and more precise, and long fast sweepers are perfectly stable and balanced. Hello John, I would just like to say how fantastic my bike is now that you tuned the suspension, before I was fighting with the bike through corners, now its an absolute joy to throw around bends! I'm really over the moon with the set up, the bike is now far more exciting to ride as I can now push the front into corners and not fear it skipping underneath me.
Another bonus is that with the suspension now softer the bike is lower therefore aiding manoeuvrability on the bike with my 5 foot 6 inch frame! A huge thank you to you John, the best money I have ever spent!

Hi John, Well where to begin!!!
My bike always felt really hard on the suspension and seemed to try and buck me out of the seat every chance it got!!!...But now, well, lets just say it’s sorted!!! bike now feels much smoother on all road types (we went on many different ones today), it actually feels like I can 'feel' the road under me!!, feel much happier with the front, seem to have more feed back from it and feel more confident with it, turning into bends are better. The rear seemed to give more feed back and felt much better on entry and exit of bends, soaks up bumps better and gives a smoother ride. Having never had a bikes suspension set up before I can honestly say that it has made a big difference to the way it now handles...for the better!! Hi John, You carried out the set up at Hein Gerrick in Leeds and I thought for the money not to expect any real difference I couldn't have been any more incorrect as soon as I left I could feel an improvement in feel and handling but as I live only a few miles away thought would wait until I clocked some distance to fully see how it felt.
Well have just come back from touring the Mosel Valley in Germany and have been far from disappointed the bike is transformed and feels so much better I still can’t believe what a great change it made even in wet conditions handles like its on tracks.
I am so impressed and also advised my uncle to get his 650 Bandit set up by you before we went and he has done nothing but sing your praises all holiday thanks again and I will never hesitate to use you again or advise anyone I know to use you too Thanks again, Craig

Have noticed the suspension working better now though can actually feel it working. Also noticed my wrists don’t ache as much now, I didn’t complain all day Sunday. Guess with you softening up the front end I don’t get as much impact from the road direct onto my wrists anymore. Dave
