Now that I'm getting on a bit I'm keen to tick off some bucket list riding stuff before its too late and while I still can, so I hope to be busy riding in 2021 (Covid allowing). As result I'm fine tuning my availablity. From February I will be available from the first Saturday of the month to the second Sunday, 8 days. Outside these time I may not pick up but if you leave a mesage I will get back to you. Also, outside these times is when I hope to be on my bike ;-)

2020
After a trial setup I am now opening for business, initially for 2 days a week Sunday and Wednesday, but with full consideration to the practicalities of setting a bike up and social distancing. Due to my age and previous (heart attack) please comply with the following requests.
- Do not make an appointment if you are showing signs of Covid 19 or you have been in the company of someone who has signs.
- Face masks are now compulsory. Please bring and wear your face mask when you remove your helmet.
- Please arrive on time, neither early nor late, as I would like to avoid overlap with adjoining appointments.
- I work from home and so please consider comfort breaks before arrival as there are no facilities on site.
- There will be moments when you will need to be on/with the bike please be extra vigilant at these times
- Please stand outside my garage when not needed.
- No group bookings
- No travelling away from home.
- No bikes with electronic suspension. This might seem strange but I rely on owners knowing how to navigate the menus as I never seem to be able to remember. This means being closer than I would feel comfortable at this time.
- If you have any other suggestions to keep everyone safe please make them.

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service have organised a Bike safe day on Saturday 18th July at Millenium Motorcycles, St Helens. The organiser Jason Hannah has invited me to provide a Suspension Clinic on the day, additionally there will be Fire Engine and Fire bike, Merseyside Bike Cops, and RoSPA North West. I am pleased to say that Jason was so impressed with t he benefits he felt following a set up I did for his bike that he shares my view that properly set up suspension is a key ingredient towards bike safety. Millenium Motorcycles will be also organising a prize draw and demo bikes.

December 2012 Review and News
I love doing Suspension Clinics and this year I’ve been invited to Newcastle, Cardiff, Preston, Barnsley, Aberdeenshire, Wrexham, Hein Gerrick Leeds, and Get Geared Leeds and enjoyed them immensely. These have been in addition to the places where I am a regular; The Pit Stop Diner in Stockton and Willingham Woods. Sadly, on the week-ends I’d planned to go to Sherburn the weather was atrocious and so they had to be cancelled.
As a result of this years successful invitations I’ve included a guide for distance / numbers to avoid travel costs on my Suspension Set-Up page, if you or anyone you know would like me to visit.
I’ve added a new page “ What would I do”, which highlights the steps I would take to find good suspension at moderate cost.
For those who really want to improve their suspension with quality after market parts I am now able to supply items from the Nitron, Matris, and K Tech range.

I was invited to Cuminestown, Aberdeenshire (that’s right Aberdeenshire, Scotland) at the end of July. Mike and his friend Roy of Camerons Autotech, did a great job of inviting me up, getting local bikers involved, it was a really great weekend. It just goes to show distance need not be an obstacle for a suspension party.
